Orange Cocoa Cookies

Imagine orange hot chocolate, but in a cookie. A rich dark chocolate dough accentuated with Grand Marnier, orange zest and topped with a toasty marshmallow.

Instructions
  1. Whisk all dry ingredients together until evenly dispersed. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 1 minute and then stir to combine. Chocolate should be smooth with no lumps. Pour into the dry ingredients.
  3. Add the eggs and the Grand Marnier and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and flatten them slightly on the sheet.
  5. Bake @ 325 °F for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove cookies from oven and press chocolate into each cookie and then top with a marshmallow that has been cut in half.
  7. Put the cookies back in the oven and bake for about 5 more minutes. Marshmallows should be puffy 😃
  8. Sprinkle the cookies with cinnamon ever so slightly.
